Just released a new update to new_bot with bug fixes and behaviour changes/improvement.
The most noticable change is the addition of bot stamina. If you want the bot to behave like older versions and ignore stamina for sprinting use the following commands in your new_bot.cfg
bot_stamina off
bot_sprint_percent 100

Just a quick update post to let you all know that I have just released the first public release of my new bot for day of defeat, new_bot!
new_bot is based off the original HPB_bot by Botman, and is a metamod plugin. So you’ll need metamod to run it. The main feature of new_bot is that it can load and convert sturmbot waypoints.
I won’t bore you with all the details here, so if you’re interesting in trying it out. Check out the new_bot pages below. I’ll make a new post whenever I make an update to the bot.
