Commands

There should be a file included with your MarineBot install called console_commands.html, this is the officially provided list of commands so I would recommend checking that first. Otherwise continue below. I won’t provide all the commands just the most useful ones for a player.

Client Side
Add -console to your MarineBot shortcut.

Server Side
m_bot “command value”

help
Shows you the available help categories.
help botsetup
Shows commands related to adding/removing bots and their behaviour.
help cheats
Shows commands that are mainly used to test waypoints.

marinebotmenu
Opens the marinebot menu.
Most of the commands below can be performed in this menu.

recruit [team 1-2] [class 1-9] [skill 1-5] [name]
Check the tables below for team and class values.
The skill values range from 1 (Best) to 5 (Worst).

fillserver
Fills the server with bots.
fillserver [number]
Fills the server to the specified number.

kickbot
Kicks a random bot.
kickbot all
Kicks all the bots.
kickbot allies
Kicks all allied bots.
kickbot axis
Kicks all axis bots.
kickbot [name]
Kicks the bot with the specified name.

killbot all
Kills all the bots,
killbot allies
Kills all the allied bots.
killbot axis
Kills all the axis bots.
killbot [name]
Kills the bot with the specified name.

balanceteams
Toggles balancing teams on/off.
balanceteams [on/off]
Changes balancing teams to the specified state.

randomskill
Toggles random bot skills on/off.
If on bots created will be assigned a random skill value.
If off bots created will be assigned the skill value set by spawnskill.
randomskill [on/off]
Changes random bot skill to the specified state.
randomskill current
Tells you if randomskill is on or off.

spawnskill [1-5]
This value is used if randomskill is set to off.
Changes the skill level of any bots that you add from now on.
Ranging from 1 (Best) to 5 (Worst).

botskillview
Shows you the skill values of bots in the game.

setbotskill [1-5]
Changes the skill level of the bots that are already in the game.
Ranging from 1 (Best) to 5 (Worst).
botskillup
Increases the skill of the bots in-game by 1.
botskilldown
Decreases the skill of the bots in-game by 1.
setaimskill [1-5]
Changes the accuracy level of the bots that are already in the game.
Ranging from 1 (Best) to 5 (Worst).

reactiontime [value]
The time it takes for a bot to react to seeing an enemy.
1 = 100 milliseconds. 2 = 200 milliseconds and so on.
reactiontime current
Tells you the current reaction time value.

botdontspeak
Toggles whether the bots will use Voice commands.
botdontchat
Toggles whether the bots will use say/say_team messages.
botdontchattobots
Toggles whether the bots will use say/say_team messages directed at other bots.

observer
Toggles whether the bots will ignore human players.
Useful for watching to make sure bots are behaving properly.
mbnoclip
Toggles noclip mode on for the player. Allows you to fly through walls, great for quickly moving to waypoints.
mrfreeze
Can be used to pause the bots.
botdontshoot
Toggles whether the bots will attack anything. They can still move.
